Amazing really stone house! The house is super clean, beautiful wooden furniture, everything is new and very stylish. Great combination of stone house charm and modern comfort. Nice patio, you can put outdoor furniture (it is stored in the house). Super quiet place, nice old Monastery 5 minutes walk. For all the rest you need car, come prepared- bring food with you (no supermarkets in foot reach distance). Great place from where you will can explore beauty of Douro region!

Everything was brilliant. The house was really clean and had everything we needed.the view was fantastic.

It is a piece of paradise on earth: exactly what I was looking for: cozy antic houses, swimming pool, beautiful views, picnic area under the trees, and a river cascate where to take a dip! Also, not too many people… Actually, it is better in reality than on the photos! Staff was very nice and helpful, and the food in the restaurant good and reasonably priced. I definitely recommend this place to those looking for a moment of disconnect and nature!

You have everything needed for a nice staying , all rooms were cleaned and tidy . The property is close by car to main spots ( pharmacy , shopping) Communication was amazing we arrived earlier and they have let us in with no problem, he did bring our toddler and a bed was also provided.

The house was perfect. Fernando, the owner of the house, is a very sympathetic and kind person. He helped us with all the questions we had and made great breakfasts with the products of their garden. The location of the house was truly beautiful. I would totally recommend it to people who want to see the Douro region in the heart of it.

We absolutely loved our stay! The apartment was incredibly spacious, with two bathrooms, a wonderfully comfortable bed, plenty of pillows, and fresh, fragrant towels. Everything was perfect! What made our stay even more special was the lovely surprise waiting for us in the fridge, the host had kindly left us fresh fruit from her own garden. Such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture.

Lovely local family business, if you are looking for a serene location in Douro valley. Friendly hosts, very kind. Nice location with beautiful views, very clean property as well, everything was clean and smelled fresh. Just consider that you will be staying in a room with private shower and toilet, but other spaces are shared (such as living room, kitchen, pool, etc.). Highly recommend for a night’s stay in Douro valley.
