Various choice from the buffet and a la cart. I loved the smoothies. The chalet is serving cheese fondue and has mountain charm. We loved the pool area, specially after 18:00 when it’s adults only till 22:00. Shuttle service to the ski lift works great.

Location is super good, just outside of the train station. As a solo traveler, the room is really spacious enough. The breakfast is delicately arranged and guests can enjoy the meal in a very well-decorated restaurant.

For me - it's an excellent model on how hotel should be build. Clean, quite, perfect location. Everything make sense, cleary build by software developers. Kitchen has everything and even more. If you love to cook - this place is for you.

Views are stunning. The village is quite small, doesn't have a lot of events. Comfy beds, clean shared bathrooms, clean towels. Places to sit and spend time near hotel.

Built in 1896 in the Art Nouveau style, the historic Jugendstilhotel Paxmontana, standing on a hill in a beautiful location in the Canton of Obwalden, has won many awards. breakfast was generous and full of options. eggs were only available after 9am due to internal meetings before..I thought that was rather unusual.
