Secondly, the staff there are amazing people—warm and welcoming. Even though I don’t speak Spanish and they don’t speak English, we were still able to connect and understand each other. The location was perfect for catching an early morning flight since it’s close to the airport. Although, the town itself is quite small. Room was super clean and comfortable. They have AC, wi-fi and provide a tasty breakfast. I would love to stay there again someday.

Cabañas Dechi is the place to stay in Puerto Nariño. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome. We were met by Charlie and his sons at the dock when we arrived from Leticia and taken to the cabins. They are a short walk from the centre of town, on a beautiful property surrounded by nature. The cabins are simple but impeccably clean, comfortable and with everything you might need. Charlie and his family helped us arrange activities, transport and meals for the three days we were there. They are some of the warmest and most welcoming people we met on our trip around South and Central America. We had a truly wonderful time staying here, and only wish we could have stayed longer. It was the highlight of our trip.

Took only mototaxi to Tanimboca and tuk-tuk to the airport.

It was such a relaxing place to chill and be with nature. The monkeys and birds are a great spectacle for any one staying here. It is very basic accommodation but I knew that before I arrived so don't expect luxury.

Our stay was exceptional. The property and facilities were spotless and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I left our key with another person in our group accidentally and was not able to return it when checking out. The front desk was incredibly helpful and understanding and helped us getting a tuktuk driver to return it to the hotel.
