Incredible place! The staff was awesome, so hospitable and helpful. The place was spotless and well-decorated. They have a wonderful view of the Nile, which, along with breakfast, was the best part of my morning. I felt sad leaving. My best stay in Egypt so far.

When we arrived at the ferry dock in Aswan, we were greeted by Ebrahim, the boatman from the guest house. He & his friends/relatives helped to carry our luggages down the stairs to the boat. The boat ride to the guest house was absolutely breathtaking, we were so glad we decided to stay on Elephantine Island. Once we arrived at the guest house, one of the hosts, Omar, invited us to the rooftop to have our welcome drinks. So we sipped our hibiscus tea while enjoying the beautiful view of the Nile River during sunset, it was so serene. We had dinner & breakfast the next day on the rooftop as well, Abu Nasser is an amazing chef! Omar & Abu Nasser were very warm & welcoming, we felt at home right away. The location of the guest house is on the quieter side of Elephantine Island, facing the Aga Khan Mausoleum across the river, it felt very peaceful. There are no cars, tuk-tuks or motorcycles on Elephantine Island, so we walked everywhere, to the ferry dock & to the restaurants. It was honestly a very enjoyable walk because we got to see how some of the locals lived. Our rooms were clean & nicely decorated, each room had the view of the Nile River. The shower pressure & the WIFI were good.

We absolutely loved the guest house - the hospitality, the food, the location, the rooftop terrace - everything was perfect! We also appreciated that the owner helped us organize the activities (airport pickup, Abu Simbel & Luxor private transfer), which reduced the stress of planning by a lot. Three location is very quiet and romantic, we enjoyed Aswan the most out of the biggest cities in Cairo. All in all, 10/10!

The location on an island is quite cozy and has an amazing view. We were nicely welcomed by our host Omar, even if it was in the middle of the night. The rooms were clean and well decorated, the view of the Nile from the room is stunning. The breakfast was based on local products and homemade dishes. Overall an exceptional experience, we were glad to have stayed there.

I can walk around Nubian Village market. I usually leave before breakfast, so they prepare snacks and drinks for us everyday. Staff available to help carry the luggage. The owner and staff are helpful:)

Our stay at the Nile Bride was one of our best stays in all of our travels. Mostafa and Mohamed sometime pass by for a talk and are very helpfull. The food we ordered at night was the best we ate in our 3 week trip in Egypt beside of the terrace and the view on the nile and the oposite deserted mountains with ancient tombs. Ask them to go birdwatching by boat on the Nile at 7.00am. They will also pick you up with the boat when you arrive and bring you to the mainland again when you leave. We came for 2 nights and stayed 5. This village with its ancient history is a very special place. After spending some days on the island it felt like everybody knew us and we came so easy to conversations and wonderful encounters.

The Guest House is new, well equipped and wonderful view. The terrace is large, perfect for enjoying the sun at breakfast. The room was very comfortable. Bathroom is spacious and well organized. There is AC but we didn’t use it as December’s weather is more chili and the room was nice and warm at night. There is coffee, tea and tisane available at any time in the rooftop. Breakfast is Nubian style, with eggs, bread, vegetables, a bean sauce (foul) creamy local cheese, tasty falafel and coffee or tea. Everything was fresh and delicious. We specially enjoyed the quietness of the place, restful nights without noise. The hosts are warm and kind. This is a family business so you will meet Mohamed, the host, as well as his wife and kids. They try their best to provide you with a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Mohamed picked us up from the ferry im his private boat and took to Elephatine where they helped us with the bags. It is a very short walk to the guest house. They can also provide boats to visit the attractions around the Aswan. This is a perfect place for solo travelers or families
