Galway is a great city to have a basis and explore the west coast and I strongly recommend the Radisson Red Hotel for that.

The host and his family were friendly, organized and very helpful. The breakfast was incredibly delicious, the place was one of the cleanest places I've ever seen. Even if the place is not in the center of Galway it wasn't difficult to reach the center also because the host helped us to find the best place to park our car. Thanks for everything.

Westport Heights offers family-friendly accommodation in Westport on the Wild Atlantic Way, offering views of the town and Croagh Patrick. Very nice house and lovely hostess. Shared bathroom was kept real clean.

Located next to Galway Railway and Bus Station, Galway City Hostel overlooks Eyre Square. Location, staff, cleanliness and other guests were all 10/10! Super nice and friendly. The hostel had a very nice and respectful enviornment. They offered dinner for 5€ every night, which was vegan and delicious. We had a lovely time!

A 5-minute drive from Galway city centre, Ardawn House offers high-quality en suite rooms and an extensive breakfast menu. We were welcomed very friendly! Nice and clean rooms! In the morning we could enjoy an extensive breakfast with different choices: pancakes, brioches, veggie, eggs, Irish breakfast, ... Very tasty! Afterwards we got a lot of information about the sights in the wide area. Definitely recommended!

Offering free parking just 8 minutes’ walk from Galway’s centre, Ash Grove House offers freshly cooked, full Irish breakfasts. I can highly recommend staying here. The owners and staff are very friendly and the room was very nice and cozy. The breakfast was very nice. You have some different options to chose from the day before and then they make it fresh for you in the morning when you come down to the breakfast room. The location is also great. Its about a 12 min walk to the city center and 10 min maximum to the University. There's also a small supermarket and pharmacy close by. I visited in December 2024 and the Christmas spirit in Galway is amazing.

Located in the heart of the beautiful Westport Quay, Ireland, The Helm is adjacent to Westport House and overlooks the idyllic Westport Harbour. It offers a restaurant and bar with live... We informed the management of the estimated time of our arrival and told them we would get a taxi straight to the facility. When we arrived at the Westport train station we were met by a member of the management in a mini bus. Lovely surprise. When my husband and friend arrived much later that evening the kitchen was closed but they cheerfully reopened it and fed them with a fabulous plate of fresh fish and chips. The food was absolutely delicious and very plentiful. The owners and staff were wonderful, very warm and friendly. The apartment was very pleasant and comfortable. I cannot speak highly enough of the people of this warm and welcoming place. I hope to return there someday and very highly recommend it to people looking for a lovely vacation experience. Thank you again to the owners and staff of the Helm. Westport is a great little town in a stunningly beautiful location.😁👍
