Very close to food and shopping and transport options and situated on a very cute road. The staff were very nice and helpful. I tried the private onsen which was very nice and luxurious. The beds were absolutely amazing and the room was not too badly sized for japan.

Objekat insomnia KYOTO OIKE je smešten na atraktivnoj lokaciji u gradu Kjoto, i to u četvrti Nakagyo Ward, na 14 min. Where to start! This was one of the best hotels we have stayed in Japan. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They helped to receive luggge and packages, and helped us send our luggages to the following hotel. The rooms were more spacious than the usual modern hotels in Japan, and decorated immaculately. The continuous flow of baked goods, drinks at the cozy lobby made me feel like having a big living room where I could spend hours to chill after a long day of walking. We also made use of their free bike rental. It is a such great concept! I also used the laundry on the ground floor. Definitely considering staying here next time I'm in Kyoto!

The hotel is right next to Higashi-honganji Temple (ひがしほんがんじ), close the Kyoto Train Station, almost walking distance, relatively convenient traffic connections. Very nice architectural and interior design with a court yard, included a Zen Garden. The facilities are excellent, enjoyed the swimming pool and sauna. Friendly staff. The breakfast is a spoil, too many choices and I wish I had better appetite.

This hotel was in a great location, just a few minutes walk from both the bus stop and station. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the staff were all very friendly. The food in the restaurant was amazing and we ate here for dinner both nights of our stay and for breakfast the morning we checked out! very convenient and great quality service all around~

The atmosphere, the breakfast, the location, and off course the most helpful and nicest staff , thank you so much for make our stay so special and memorable. We cannot wait to come back Big thanks to the breakfast staff , for makes our mornings so special, the fish was delicious. And to Tea from the reception for such a wonderful help with ours suitcase to Hiroshima (apologies if I don’t remember the name correctly)
