The staff were incredibly helpful and super friendly, making us feel welcome from the first moment. The place feels like a true jungle paradise — peaceful and relaxing. The rooms were super clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the traditional Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious. The location is also perfect, very close to all the main attractions in Sigiriya. We highly recommend this place and would happily stay here again!

We spent 2 nights at Royal Rock and had the best time! The staff took such good care of us from the moment we arrived, Suji, Jay and Sana especially, but everyone was so kind and helpful. They have a small van to easily drive you into town or to activities and to pick you up whenever you’re finished. Sana recommended several local activities and took us to beautiful photo spots. The hotel room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the view of Lion Rock our bed was magical. There is a restaurant on site and the pool was refreshing after hiking up Lion Rock on a hot day. Seriously one of the best places we’ve ever stayed! 10/10

Everything was exceptional, the staff went out of their way to help us and were among the kindest and most genuine people we met in Sri Lanka. Thank you so much for everything. Very comfortable rooms and spotless bathrooms. The breakfast was also the very best we had in Sri Lanka. The hotel was so good it spoiled everywhere we stayed after.. nowhere was as good!! We have recommended to people we met along our travels as we were so impressed.

Short walk from town centre. Amazing hosts! Very kind and hospitable. Quiet location. Breakfast was good and ample. Would definitely return here and recommend for your stay in Sigiriya.

Offering a barbecue and sun terrace, Sigiriya Water Cottage is set in Sigiriya, 3.4 km from Sigiriya Rock. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Very very nicely designed cottages, lovely pool, lots of animals like monkeys and peacocks around to watch. Staff was extremely(!) nice and helpful, there are also free bicycles to use (the way to sigiriya rock is quite short, you will not need a motorized transport if you plan to go during daylight). Be sure to check out the owners brothers restaurant (sth restaurant) which is in walking distance to the cottage and will serve one of the best vegetable rice and curry there is. Strongly recommend a stay here.

Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Sigiri Rock Side Home Stay offers pet-friendly accommodation in Sigiriya. Free private parking is available on site. Really clean room, very comfy bed. Proper toiletries were provided, unlike my other stays in Sri Lanka. The breakfast is really nice. Also, the location with respect to Sigiriya and Pidurangala is very very good. Only a 15 min walk from the Sigirya Rock's main entrance.

Objekat Sigiri Saman Home Stay u ponudi ima smeštaj, restoran, vrt, zajednički salon i terasu i nalazi se na 15 min. hoda od znamenitosti Sigiriya Rock. Staying there was the best decision I made in this trip. Not only the hotel facilities were perfect, but also Saman and his family were really friendly and helpful. They helped me with arranging everything and gave me ideas for planning my trip. It wasn’t like staying in a hotel, it was more like being hosted by a local family ❤️ If you’re staying in Sigiriya you should definitely choose this location. Good price, clean hotel, friendly and helpful stuff, great location…

The staff were really friendly and the room was very comfortable and clean the shower had nice hot water we really enjoyed our stay they also helped us with our safari and their price was good. They gave us a very nice gift when leaving

The best hotel so far on our trip. Centrally located, with breakfast overlooking the incredible Lion Rock. Every day we were surprised with a delicious local sweet dish! so good! Clean rooms, with hairdryer and Smart TV. Dinusha was super helpful and arranged a tour for us to Sigiriya and Dambulla with Kumara, whom we 100% recommend. An excellent experience. We would definitely come back!
