A perfect place to stay for our first night in sri lanka The newly built hotel was beautiful with each bedroom overlooking the palm fringed beach and the ocean. We went for a swim in the sea and strolled along the beach which was really clean.We had supper in the restaurant which was really good.

Super hotel and good value for money! This tidy and clean. You have the option to have fan or AC. The bathroom is outside with a roof, but all hotels are like this in this city. The owner is very nice and answers all questions very quickly. The hotel is well located, close to other hotels/restaurant and to KSL camp if you want to kite. I’ll come back!

Lovely stay in the middle of the jungle with the nicest staff. Every evening, a lovely buffet is prepared with all sorts of curries which are delicious. You can also book a safari with them. We loved the mix of boutique hotel and guesthouse, where you leave your shoes at the front door. The calm, rural location is a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of city business. The rooms, bathrooms, and balconies are spacious. The stairs to the 1st floor are very comfortable, with low risers. I enjoyed practicing yoga in the multi-event room, with a view out onto the ocean. The pool was appreciated, as ocean swimming is difficult. We quickly felt at home. Meals are prepared from scratch, so your personal preferences can be included. Both owners and all the staff are welcoming and helpful.

We had a fantastic 4-day stay at Soluna Beach Resort! This place is perfect for families, and the staff goes the extra mile to ensure comfort. Our kids loved the pool, especially with the inflatable toys provided. The resort also treated us with free afternoon snacks and complimentary bottled water every day. The attention to detail and family-friendly atmosphere made it a memorable stay. We highly recommend it for families looking for a relaxing beach getaway! The even let us stay in the room for free until the evening before our flight.

The service and food were excellent. An enjoyable 15 minute bicycle (they are free) ride to Elements Resort on the beach. The owner Anushka is a wealth of knowledge and was able to organize dolphin watching and onward travel for a reasonable price.

From the amazing buffet dinner they prepare for us, til the very uptight safari and guide they have associated with to do the guide safaris in wilpattu national park (btw this guide is the absolute best, incredibly knowledgeable and sweet person, made us see 3 leopards on a bad day...) The rooms are splendid, very nice and comfortable beds, bed sheets made in heaven... and the resort itself is very beautiful and just 10 min walk away from a splendid lake where we can also take a dive. Amazing
