The place is fairly easy to find and the instructions were very clear. It was clean and well equipped with all the amenities needed. The host was friendly and showed me how to use the traditionnal sauna and even let me check out a bit later. This and the area surrounded by nature made my experience very enjoyable and authentic which I absolutely loved.

The host’s hospitality and responsiveness were truly outstanding—he was always quick to respond to our questions and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of. His thoughtfulness really shone through, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. The apartment itself was well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was also spotlessly clean and tidy, which made us feel right at home. The location is perfect—just a short 3-minute walk to both a grocery store and a bus stop, and very close to the city centre, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and errands. One of the highlights of our trip was the Northern Lights tour we took with the host in his car. It was a magical experience, and his knowledge of the area made it even more special. He went the extra mile (literally!) to ensure we had the best chance to see the lights. We highly recommend this apartment for anyone visiting the area. With such a wonderful host, a convenient location, and thoughtful touches throughout, it’s a stay you’ll remember fondly!

Exceptional place to stay. We did not want to leave anymore as it felt like home. Olivier has transcribed his love and passion for navigation and expedition into this ecolodge. It is absolutely beautiful and cosy with amazing views. On top, if you have the chance to talk to Olivier, he has great stories about his expeditions and work that we are grateful he shared with us. It is important to respect this place, which is breathing of adventures.

The apartment was cozy and spacious, all I could ask for really. The host was also very pleasant and made the stay all the better.

The villa is located in the upper part of Trømso at the beginning of Tromstaltinden valley so it has nice views on the town. The interior is spacious with wide kitchen area, dining room and bedooms. There is a nice panorama-room with couches at the second floor. Cleanliness was perfect. Private parking just in front of the house.
