And then there’s Domenico—the host who not only offers a scooter rental at a fair price but also treats you to **homemade bread and fresh cow’s milk**. As if that wasn’t enough, he even gives you a free ride to the airport! This isn’t just a host—this is the **Filipino version of a Sicilian nonno**, serving not just breakfast but **pure family warmth**. Good thing the flight got canceled! Normally, that would be a nightmare, but for us, it was an **extended paradise** on Camiguin. The only mistake? Not planning **a longer stay from the start**. Our stay at Balihao was the highlight of our stay in the Philippines: the luxurious villa with a private pool, the restaurant (one of the best meals we had in the Philippines), the breathtaking view, the overall atmosphere... Honestly, we hesitated at first because there weren't that many reviews, but we are so glad we came. We stayed for 4 nights but decided to extend our stay because we loved it so much. Thanks for the memorable stay; we wish we could have stayed longer! And special thanks to the great team that made us feel at home!

Everything was exceptional! The place is organized and clean, the tent is spacious and with so many details to make you feel welcomed and taken care! The owners and all the staff are lovely, and the food was also super good. It was seriously one of the best places we stayed.
