They will help you in organising everything from a day trip to Cresta De Gallo (for 3500 pesos as of March 2024) to the transfer back to Magdiwang if you have to catch a ferry to leave this spectacular yet relaxed island. Two well equipped and modern bungalows in a beautiful garden make you instantly feel home away from home. Marevic handles everything food related and Uwe is the facility manager. Even if there is a brownout on the island: no worries, solar powered batteries will take care of the situation. So you will never be long without light - or Wi-Fi… 😉 Don’t forget to try the homemade icecream. My favourite was Ube (some slightly salty sort of beetroot in a deep purple colour). The continental breakfast is delicious and after weeks of instant coffee I especially enjoyed the filter coffee. The bread with jam was also very nice. My favourite for dinner was the tasty burger. The meals can either be enjoyed on your own patio or in a bamboo shack right in front of the beach with Cresta De Gallo in the distance.

Its a bit of a jaunt to a store however. We had a motorbike so no problem. Rumor is the tap water is safe? Hmmm the owner brought us drinking water. He was so helpful.

The hotel is as described, in he middle of the 'jungle'. Quite rustic, rooms are beautiful and the views are incredible. Staff was welcoming and nice. Restaurant was pleasant, simple tasty food. They had installed a solar power panel before our arrival, so we had electricity the whole time, which was great as it was very hot and having a fan on the whole night was helpful.

Air con excellent, kitchen and fridge freezer excellent. Bed very comfy. Hot shower good. Toilet flush no problems. Overall really enjoyed our stay we extended two extra nights. Kitchen fully equipped.
