Some vintage furniture added charm to this newly built hotel. I have stayed in another place in Merida which was more expensive and a total dump. Azuli Santiago was a gem in comparison.

Great staff at the front desk who had wonderful advice on things to do in the surroundings of Merida. The whole atmosphere in the hotel is laidback and the decorations very cute. Comfy bed, hot shower with good water pressure!

The amenities they provide in the rooms are very thought of : many different towels, their own shampoo (which my hair LOVED) and soap, a big closet, mosquito nets. The rooms are spacious. We also received a very tasty breakfast made by the host, it wasn’t just generic toast-and-jam breakfast. The host is exceptionally helpful and generous.
