I really loved the genuity of the place, truly local food and clean though simple lodgings. Compared to the other camps, the location of the camp in the desert is further from the village, so if you want to get the feeling of remoteness, go for it. I had never experienced such piece and quiet in my life as I did there. Mahmoud - the guide - is an experienced nice guy with plenty of knowledge of the local customs and is sensitive to visitors´ needs. While touring through the desert, he made us a delicious lunch and answered anything we asked about the Jordan culture or family traditions.

A acomodação disponibiliza Wi-Fi grátis. here's what you do, you book a desert view room (If available insist on room 6), set your alarm to 4 a.m, and sleep in the bed facing the window. The view you'd wake up to is one I wish I could freeze and take home with me, the moonlit canvas with the mountain in front of it is something out of a painting. you also pay for dinner, and enjoy breakfast, both of which are filling, varied, and tasty. anytime you head to the gathering hall, sit near the fire and enjoy some of the best tea you will ever have. I had interacted with everyone working at this camp, and I can't see enough praise of them. I know that southern Jordanians are some of the most welcoming and kind people you'd ever meet, and they delivered. Super respectful, cheerful, caring, and take great care of the camp. I wish them nothing but success in the future for they deserve nothing less. as for the rooms, the bed is super comfy and rooms are decent sized, electric outlets are available so that wasn't an issue. I would say the only fault is the water being cold at first but give it a minuet for the hot water to travel to your room. (understandable as it is the desert) we arrived with a normal sedan so you shouldn't worry about facing issues, the staff also help and escort you to the campsite

When I met the owner he said we were like family. And that was true. He’s extremely kind and helpful. He suggested that, as a solo traveler, I join some group in tours. There also was free high-speed wi fi. They served nice breakfast and dinner, and at any moment during the day we could take some cool water and tea/coffee. At night they kindled a fire and we admired the stars.
