Ahmad at the reception stood out super helpful and friendly, which made a big difference. Also, Sultan, our tour guide for the jeep tour, was excellent. He knew everything and made the trip so enjoyable. Overall, a great experience! I would do it again.

I really loved the genuity of the place, truly local food and clean though simple lodgings. Compared to the other camps, the location of the camp in the desert is further from the village, so if you want to get the feeling of remoteness, go for it. I had never experienced such piece and quiet in my life as I did there. Mahmoud - the guide - is an experienced nice guy with plenty of knowledge of the local customs and is sensitive to visitors´ needs. While touring through the desert, he made us a delicious lunch and answered anything we asked about the Jordan culture or family traditions.

Very comfortable bed and hot water shower.

Wild Oryx Camp Bubbles está ubicado en Wadi Rum y ofrece alojamiento con vistas a la montaña, salón compartido, una terraza, un restaurante y parrilla. The camp is very small und private with just 4 bubble tents and everthing is still pretty new, clean and in good condition. It is located in the northern part of Wadi Rum about 10km from the next town in a very secluded area. There are a few camps there, but you don't see them unless you climb on the rocks. It is a really quite and beautiful place. Eid the owner is a very friendly man who takes care that everything works out well. He took care for a smooth arrival, took us to his home, where he explained all the options for tours (jeep/camel) we have and the cost for them. He was never pushy and left everything up to our choice. Dinner and Breakfast were great with many options and more food than we could eat. When we left we were taken to the meeting point with our driver for the onward journey. Besides the tours everything is included, there are no charges for food or beverages or anything. We had a great time at the Wild Oryx Camp and enjoyed true Bedouin hospitality.
