The manager was so helpful, always having time for you whenever you have a question or two, great guy. The staffs were so friendly, helpful and supportive also. The masai guys and the guards around the property gave us some proper lesson about the animals around the property. They were like tour guides, great job.

Ideal family option. Great location on the border of the park allowing for convenient access away from the traditional access gates. Excellent chef and cuisine - very good food that exceeded expectations including generous, fresh breakfasts whether on safari or on the outdoor patio overlooking a watering hole. Newer, small camp (currently three well appointed, comfortable tents) owned by photography guides (Geff and Alexia, not on site during our visit) who offer their own safari options. Jamlex was a top notch guide and brother of Geff - he went out of his way to find amazing encounters with wildlife and demonstrated a deep enthusiasm for his profession. Arranging a safari through the camp provides the added convenience of having others organize electronic day passes. Most staff are related to Geff, and have been trained at more established camps. Leaky, head of front of house (and another brother of Geff) did his best to ensure needs of our family with two children were met in a gentle and responsive manner. Over time the camp is seeking to expand its bed offering. Ideal for safari goers looking for an initimate, quality stay at reasonable rates in a relaxed atmosphere. Most camps in the area are notoriously expensive and park fees continue to rise, while pressures from local cattle grazing and poverty/inequality are significant issues. Nevertheless, this is a nice gem that families, independent travellers and others focussed on safari (not needing a pool, gym or other superfluous features) should seek out. Recommended.

Excellent newly built camp located right next to a small gate. Everything is brand new. The water is warm, and they even offer free binoculars to borrow. The warm toilet seat is a real lifesaver on cold nights! The staff are super friendly and welcoming — they even waited outside our tent to help with our luggage when we checked out. The food is delicious, and the Maasai dance activity is absolutely fantastic.

Super location with tents spaced out between private winding paths on a hill with a view. Dining area with fireplace and washroom. Tents with washroom also. Great dinner was an added bonus. This was super for a group of work colleagues visiting the park.

I dont know where to start, staff is amazing, place is amazing, locationc is perfect, ask for Alex as your guide he is the best we've ever seen mad your experience 100 times better and knew each and every tree in the jungle, this place is situated in the jungle not the sahra, so your experience with the conservatory is different and you are literally right with the animals and gives you a full on experience with the wild. We saw all the animals in our 5 days stay. The food they serve is one of the best ever, fresh, and wonderful, everyday something new.

Excellent! The staff treats you like royalty. The meals are delicious—when the chef found out I was a lone vegetarian in my group —an extra mile was taken to ensure I didn’t miss out. The game drives were amazing! The rangers are well informed and very personable to ensure guests that all efforts will be made to view priority animals. We saw all the big 5 plus an aardvark! Comfy clean rooms too. A quiet ambiance with an incredible view.

This is an amazing place where Massai tribe works and provide income for locals. Tents are comfortable, the stories, activities etc really nice, the visit of hot springs, Massai village and nature walk fantastic. Food was simple but nicely seasoned and tasty. Views from the restaurant (and a toilette) spectacular. Highly recommended experience.

We stayed in this lodge with my sister. The man at the reception was so kind - he upgraded us to the room with a view over the river and that completely changed the whole experience: being so close to hippos was absolutely wonderful. We could hear them at night even, magical! And at night we also saw elephants and giraffes coming to the river, literally at the gate of the camp - it was splendid. Excellent location for a safari in Masai Mara.

Beautiful place in the hills of the Maara… extremely friendly and accommodating staff… amazing luxury tents… top-notch local guides - Alex, our guide, and Jon, the GM, are exceptionally welcoming and knowledgable… great food produced in their own gardens… incredible wildlife right in the reserve itself… beautiful game drives, not only in the Maara reserve but also in the conservatories which allow you to do walking safaris… bonfires for sunsets in the bush… just infredible… cannot recommend more… we had a wonderful time and will be back.
