From the moment we arrived at the Merzouga camp, the welcome was exceptionally warm and well-organized. During the day, the weather was sunny and warm, while at night it became cool and refreshing. One of the highlights was learning how to prepare traditional Moroccan Saharan tea, as well as learning Berber desert dances and trying traditional musical instruments* such as drums and local rhythmic patterns. I truly loved this camp because it perfectly combines the beauty of nature with excellent service. From the moment I arrived, I felt I was on a spiritual journey more than a tourist trip. The tents are very luxurious, and the staff is professional. We took a 4×4 trip deep into the desert and visited an old water well that had been used by nomads for hundreds of years. The activity I liked the most was sitting on the dunes at night and watching the Milky Way so clearly — I had never seen the sky so beautiful before. The food was very delicious and the service excellent. I will definitely visit again.
