This is the perfect location to stay at the zoo. It’s 2 km from the entrance. It is a good idea to have your own transportation. We took a taxi from Bangkok. We called the training center from the Information center inside the zoo and they come to pick you up. The staff is very accommodating. Make sure you have a translator app as very few people speak English. The room is perfect, we stayed 2 nights, a copious breakfast is included. We walked down the mountain to the zoo and we had so many animals to watch on our way down. We rented a golf cart for the rest of the day. There are many places to eat, street vendors and a 7-11 on the premises. The staff is very nice! It was a beautiful experience.
