Location served our purpose as we were looking for a spot not too far from the port. But it can be a bit isolated from rest of island and other activities if you don’t drive.

If you are looking for a camp site with all the essentials, this is the place. The host and owner Aki-San is very friendly and easy going to accomodate his customers. We were upgraded from a tent site to an interior building site. It had a heater and attached to a shared kitchen. The restroom was next door and a hot shower was in the next building a few steps away. We had a quiet, restful evening and woke up to birds singing. He does offer other services , so look up his website.

The location is very quiet, only the stream can be heard and occasionally road traffic but not too much. The facilities were very clean for an outdoor setting like this. Staff did not speak much English but did show us around on the arrival.
