Cabins in Mindo

Diana was an excellent host. Breakfast was so delicious very healthy low in calories. I went with my furry babies and they were the most which enjoyed the stay. The weather was beautiful rain during the evening and sunny in the morning. No complaints all was amazing highly recommended.

Breakfast was excellent. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was excellent Location was good! Mindo town is safe and has a lot of point of interest and things that you can do around . I really recommend this place 👌

Quiet location just one block back from the main centre, but with no main roads near the property. The place is modern, clean and beautifully designed. Breakfasts were amazinggg! The pool looked great although we didn’t use it

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay at Mindoloma, with amazing birding at the lodge, along the waterfall trail, and at the next door Las Cotingas reserve. The hosts are lovely kind people, and Patricio really knows his birds! 100% recommend a few nights here.

It was absolutely lovely! The owner took such good care of us and is actively involved in conservation efforts all around. The views were incredible and the whole place just oozed of serenity

Mindo gardens is a few km out of the main town of Mindo. It has its own land with some trails/walks to nearby waterfalls. The gardens are beautiful and teaming with birds, frogs and other wildlife. So if you want a perfect/quiet get away staying somewhere beautiful while able to see wildlife then this is perfect. If you want to be central to Mindo and in a more busy environment then this may not be for you as the walk/taxi into town will get tiresome.

My second time in Mindo and my second time staying here. If I return to Mindo, I will stay here again. Small, family run hotel about a 5-10 minute walk to the main street of Mindo. Rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet. The reason for staying here is the amazing bird/animal garden next to the patio. It is so wonderful, that private tours stop here with paying guests, but you get it for free. A delicious breakfast is served on the patio, so you can enjoy the hummingbirds even more! After a fun filled day in Mindo, the patio is the perfect place to relax and be surrounded by the nature.

Though I originally booked the "Deluxe Suite with Spa Bath" online, I didn't realize that - though beautiful - it wasn't situated directly along the river. But upon checking in, when I gently questioned the location of the suite - without a moment's hesitation, the staff immediately led me to the (even more stunning) upgraded "Superior Suite" - likewise with a private jacuzzi directly above the gurgling river - at no extra charge. Without question, among the most magical accommodations in my (40+ years/50+ countries) of solo travels! Everything about Saguamby is of the highest quality, and the staff - ever attentive and helpful. Utterly tranquil, close to town, and strong wifi. Plus... a most bountiful and delicious breakfast each morning served within a few feet of that glorious river. Thanks to All at Saguamby for making my visit to Mindo so very memorable!

Everything! The host is lovely and was very helpful! She ensured we had everything we needed - the ATM was not working in town and we ran out of cash and she helped us out which was so nice and let us be able to eat haha! She also helped us book activities in the area and plan our time out! The room was very comfortable and each room had an area on the balcony/porch with a hammock and sitting area overlooking the gardens They offer laundry at an affordable price She even let us check out a little later while we waited for our bus time so we didn't have to rush! it was only a short walk (15-20 mins) to town, or she gave us whattsapp numbers for local taxi drivers who were super reliable and charged USD2-3 each way

Fantastic situation, it is at only 8 minutes walk from the village Mindo on a flat road.... In Mindo we could rent electric bikes and electric quads to get around.... The suites are surrounded of nature ans we were delighted of the colibris, toucans and colorful butterflies flying around us... the pool and the jacuzzi are very clean and pleasant.... the breakfast was very nice as well

The location is absolutely stunning! Set in the rain forest next to a stream with a an outdoor seating and cooking area. We loved the location. Ivan the owner was incredibly lovely and even though we speak almost no Spanish we managed to have some great conversations with him. We also seen 2 capybara when making an early breakfast

The staff were incredibly helpful, and went above any expectations. This was just an overnight stay for us but we wished we could have stayed longer. The lodge & location was beautiful

Fantastic site for watching and hearing wildlife. Very private. Good trails. Great gardens for birds. Well looked after. Very good breakfast. Big kitchen to use. Wonderful to sit on porch and see birds. Very cozy and woodsy. More like a comfortable cabin atmosphere than hotel. Very accommodating with doing our laundry, inexpensive too.

Really beautiful location and great room. Very clean, attentive and helpful staff. Impossible to fault this place.

The property is perfect for spending quality time with your family and unwinding in a lovely environment.

Very nice surroundings with lots of wildlife and vegetation. The hot tub outside the cabin is a really nice place to enjoy the evening. Also liked the fact they provided water to drink as some places here in Ecuador don't and it's annoying having to find it and buy it.

Facilities and roundabouts were awesome.
