We had a truly wonderful stay at El Refugio de Las Vegas. The whole place exudes tranquillity and harmony, perfectly suited for anyone looking to disconnect and relax in nature. The host were incredibly friendly, attentive and genuinely caring, which added a warm personal touch. Though nestled in a peaceful setting away from the hustle and bustle, the location remains convenient and easy to access. Whether you are travelling as a couple, with friends or family, this is a place you could happily return to. In short: highly recommended. It’s the kind of place where you leave feeling refreshed, appreciated and already planning your next visit.

The house is cozy and well-furnished. The host is very friendly and caring, and made us feel at home. The location is perfect for hiking and exploring the beautiful nature, with several scenic trails (SL1, SL3 and SL4) starting nearby. The house has a rooftop terrace where we could relax, enjoy the views, and grill the food. The El Rincon village is very peaceful with the scenic views of the nearby mountains.

We had a lovely room at the top of the building with our own private patio. It was very quiet and comfortable. The upstairs lounge and terrace are wonderful spaces to relax. The kitchen facilities are excellent. The other residents at the hostel respected the house rules and there was absolutely no noise at night. Damiano, Micaela and Giaco were exceptionally helpful and accommodating.

Such a lovely warm welcome from Imre and Xenia and their gorgeous pets (whose names I forget again!) A plentiful help yourself continental style breakfast and complementary teas and coffee as well as drinks and a select menu available day and evening on the lovely roof terrace with loungers and shade (and also great for a bit of plane spotting!) Extremely helpful and always around and willing to assist with whatever you need. The bed was really comfortable (and didn’t hear any planes during the nighttime) sockets by the bed, spotlessly clean and the nice little touches in the bathroom (including cottonwool and shower gel) came in very handy! Also they happily do a airport transfer service at the time you need. Thank you for making my disaster (missed my flight) into a fun little adventure!

Incredible views of the valley in a very calm and relaxing environment. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need. Ismael was an excellent host, helping us with anything we needed. There was a little black cat who befriended us from the first minute which made the stay even more special. You are not close to the shops, so bring everything you need.
