We had a great stay. It was back to basics when it came to toilet facilities, but it was an amazing experience and our 12 and 14-year-olds absolutely loved it. We wild swam in the lake, enjoyed the peace and quiet, and really felt at one with nature. A simple breakfast was delivered each morning, which was a lovely touch. Be prepared with a flashlight and plenty of snacks. Two nights was the perfect amount of time for us. We also drove 15 minutes to a nearby lake for watersports and a lovely lunch out. The cost may seem a little expensive considering the facilities available, but I think you're really paying for the unique location and overall experience. If you're looking to switch off and enjoy nature, it's well worth it.
