Beautiful surroundings in a quiet and peaceful area. I had a wonderful time- sitting by the pool or on the terrace with a serene view of the valley and the lake. The breakfasts were plentiful, the dinners- tasty. I walked around the area a bit- I was recovering from the cold so I didn’t have a chance to do the hikes, which was my plan. But I rested, slept like a baby an winded down from my hectic city life.

Everything about our stay was brilliant. The location at the foot of the hills is beautiful, the rooms were large and comfy, the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a beautiful long walk to the salt mines with a knowledgeable and friendly local guide and the dogs came with us everywhere we went.

Abdoul was an absolutely lovely host and he made sure we were well looked after! He organized a hike with a guide one day and gave us directions to another hike, to the top of Mzik, which was our favorite. Our room was simple, but had everything we needed, and the view from our balcony was breathtaking to wake up to every day. The two dinners we had at the lodge were phenomenal, so very tasty. The lodge is up on the hillside, with incredible views from the patio and rooftop, 10min walk from the Imlil waterfalls and a 20min steep walk down to town. The breakfast is the typical Moroccan breakfast (bread, peanut butter, honey, olives, eggs, coffee and tea), but no fresh orange juice unfortunately.

View Peaks Lodge features accommodations in Imlil. The bed and breakfast offers mountain views, a terrace, and free Wifi is available throughout the property.

We wanted an authentic experience in the Atlas Mountains and this was it. Comfort, privacy and gracious service with the feel of staying with a local family. The location was good for hiking, witnessing life in a mountain village but close enough to Imlil if anything is needed or to get a restaurant. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner each evening.

Said was phenomenal. He always asked how I was doing and if I needed anything. The breakfast was delicious and I recommend having dinner here too. It was the perfect stay for a time hiking in the mountains.
