Location was great. The lodge was a wonderful private and quiet retreat base for walking to Franeker (do visit the planetarium), and visiting nearby villages like Makkum, Harlingen & Dokkum). The kind reception by the owner and the curious Alpaca “Neighbors” were a true bonus.
