IndiaThe hostel is superb. I was staying with my 2 sons for a short ski trip. The facilities are excellent- great showers/ WC facilities- drying room- everything you need - good kitchen, dining and communal areas. Cleanliness is immaculate
The hostel is set in an amazing area next to the river.
You should have in your mind that it's a hostel and not a 5 star full service hotel

The location is amazing to go skiing (only 10min from the slopes!!). Very good communication with the owners also!

I was delighted with the quality of cabin offered by The Trysil Hyttegrend camping and Hostel. I felt like at home and still thought that my stay shouls have lasted longer sitting in so cosy cabin.

The cabin is located near to the ski resort and the center of Trysil. Really a beautyfull place.

Excellent hosts, they will do their best to suite your needs. Cabins are very compact but there is everything that one might need. Beautiful view from cabin, beautiful surrounding. Clean and cosy.

A clean, comfortable, compact cabin in a lovely spot near the river. Our cabin had a nice view. It's a few km from the skiing but there's a ski bus from the front door and it's not too far from the town centre for the amenities there. For 3-4 people it was a good option, and relatively good value in terms of Trysil prices. Would definitely go back.

It's a beautiful cabin in a beautiful location with an off-grid feel but with modern facilities. We skied at Trysil several days and although the drive is manageable, it's a little far. I can imagine this would be a great summer get-away.
