Cradle Mountain Highlanders offers secluded cabins on the edge of Cradle Mountain National Park. It provides convenient, self-catering facilities and is a 5-minute drive from the park’s entrance. The cabin is conveniently close to the visitor centre. It was cozy, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. Warm enough even on a snowy night, which made our stay very comfortable. The staff were very accommodating and kept guests updated about snow and road closures

Strahan Wilderness Lodge was easy to get to if you have a vehicle. The shared dining room area and kitchen has a lovely view of the water and Strahan across the bay. The Wilderness Lodge was clean and furnished well. it ws a quiet and comfortable place to stay. The couple running it are friendly and helpful.

What a beautiful and peaceful experience. We had a fabulous cheese n wine evening by the fire watching the wallabies hop into the vines and then the stars.

Cabin is big n nice! Beds are comfortable! Its just a 30mins drive from the airport and to the city area!!!! Its quiet and peaceful!! Love it!!!

Absolutely middle of nowhere but with some mobile connectivity. Loads of wallabies, pademelons, wombats and we did also see a Tasmanian devil and a juvenile eastern quoll. Great viewing room inside the lodge. Great for dark sky/aurora. Food was lovely - home comfort stuff - and honesty bar well stocked.

Very comfortable and spacious, good heater, very well equipped kitchen perfect for cooking. Hosts very friendly and helpful when we had some car issues the next morning! Would highly recommend.
