Cabañas y Casa Kauken offers three cabins and one home accommodation in Puerto Natales. Free private parking is available on site. We stayed in the most charming, comfortable, clean and cozy cabin. It is full of cute details. After completing a long Trek in Torres del Paine, this is exactly what we needed! The hot tub is a dream, overlooking the green grass with horses running by. The table & fridge are full with yummy free breakfast and other items that are sold at market price (as opposed to overpriced minibar food in hotels). David and his wife are the kindest, most helpful hosts and very interesting persons. The airport is a 10 minute taxi ride, which we didn’t have to worry about because David works with his trusted taxi driver. Last but not least, the water pressure in the shower is amazing! Everything was, as we would say, Swiss quality!! :-)

This property is in the middle of nowhere but that is the most appealing and endearing attribute. Nestled on a hill overlooking the rio Rasmussen, you had views of incredible landscapes and animals. Juan and Ninni are hosts extraordinaire. They and their assistants made sure we had everything we needed. We had fires in our rooms to keep us warm, coffee to go for our day adventures and any question we had was answered in full. Then there was the cooking. These two know how to prepare some of the best Chilean meals one could imagine. You would expect that quality of meals from very high end restaurants but to enjoy such delicacies in such an amazing setting was divine.

The most absolutely stunning property I have ever been to! And the food, it was easily the best food I have ever had at a hotel/lodge. You can tell the wine list is carefully chosen, was the beer. There is not a think about the whole experience that isn’t carefully thought-out for that matter. All of the staff were endlessly sweet and very diligent about trying to make this a truly wonderful experience for everyone who walks through their doors.

Great location. Our room was perfect for four people with four individual twin beds. The kitchen had everything we needed and the location was great.

The lamb barbecue, sheep sheering demonstration, horseback riding, and accommodations were all excellent. The owners and staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend.
