Madreselva Eco Lodge is the most beautiful place to stay on Chocó. It is so peaceful, pristine, polished and confortable! The place is new and with an exquisite zen feeling, surrounded by jungle, singing birds and ocean sounds. It invites you to connect with all the good energy and relaxes your spirit. Hale and Sergio are simply the best hosts you can have, very welcoming, informative about things to do and very heart warming people. They also cook like the gods! I work in the tourism industry and have seen a lot of places there. Don´t doubt it, this is a genuine treasure.

El Vijo is a paradise, I would especially recommend it for groups and couples. It is about a 20 mins walk to the next (very) small village, although the walk is not always possible due to the tide. Adolpho and Deude did an amazing job. The food was delicious and Adolpho very kind and helpful. As a solo traveller I would recommend somewhere else but for couples seeking tranquility or groups of friends looking for an amazing experience I would highly recommend it. Looking forward to my next stay there.

Incredible place. Location could not be better, right at the most fantastic beach I have ever been at. Every evening we walked 20 meters to the beach to watch the most spectacular sunsets. Pedro and Diana, the owners, are incredibly nice and helpful. We didn't plan anything about our stay, we just asked them and they helped us organise everything. You can have home cooked breakfast for an extra 30k pesos, which is great value for money. It was very tasty and they would cook it in time for our activities every time. Could not recommend more!

We have just spent 5 unforgettable days in Bahia Terco! Between the jungle and the ocean, we find this haven of peace! Claudia's kindness and Francisco's humor made this trip a wonderful one. Many thanks to Mirka and her fabulous cooking. Every dish from breakfast to dinner was perfect and above all local! Flavors you won't forget. In this place, we find Colombia as we dream of it, silence, nature. Francisco and Claudia helped us organize everything from the arrival from the airport, the activities, until the return. We shared moments together and an outing with them, to discuss everything, life, to learn from their daily lives! What happiness. We saw whales and the first swim of turtles! It is a place that I recommend 100%. If you are looking for a quiet place, with a heavenly beach, you have found the ideal hotel!! A huge crush ! Amis français, fonçez ! The location is great opposite its own beach - across a small grass area with palm trees ! Its only a short 5 min walk into town and 5 mins in the opposite direction the main swimming beach (El Almejal). Spacious and comfortable cabins surrounding a grassy square. Great breakfast and lunch served - if you are not out on a boat looking for whales ! Family run - friendly, helpful and fun people. You could not do better.
