The lodge is beautiful, the walks to each room were beautiful, you really feel like you’re the only one staying there in the rain forest as each room is spaced out from others. Refillable water station at the bar was available. The room was clean. We ate breakfast, lunch & dinner here & the meals were delicious & plentiful, pretty cheap for the quality of food prepared! Unfortunately I got sick during our stay, but all the staff went truly above & beyond to help us out, delivering food to us in our room & other necessities, checking in on us & actually really made us feel so safe & cared for despite being sick away from home! Could not fault the staff at all, they were all so wonderful & you can use WhatsApp to talk to them to schedule tours or food requests etc which was super helpful too. We absolutely would stay here again!

The unit is comfortable, light and airy. The aesthetic inside is white, clean and northern/Scandinavian. The whole unit -- bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette and patio -- feels brand new. It's attached to the main house but has its own entrance and faces away from the main house at 90 degrees, toward the garden, so feels private. The large patio has views onto the garden and jungly nature. The location is pretty and peaceful, just outside the town of Tena ('the gateway to the Amazon'). It's a large, green lot surrounded by trees and exotic birds such as oropendolas. With the directions that Alex provided, it was easy to find. You turn off the road and drive up a small lane. There's a large gate into the property, and a parking space for guests within the gated area. There are three friendly dogs, plus active roosters and chickens. The German hosts, Alex and Christiane, are very friendly and speak excellent English. Christiane prepared a fantastic breakfast ($6 extra), with fresh-baked rolls, fresh local fruit, dried meats, cheese, nuts, and fried eggs. Also gingerbread (it was Christmas). It's probably the best breakfast we've ever had at an Airbnb. Really exceptional. There was also a bodum with pre-ground coffee in the kitchenette. We'll definitely return the next time we're in Tena. Thanks, Alex and Christiane!

Rustic accommodation in a beautiful setting. Very impressed by Oscar and his family's knowledge of the flora and fauna and their plans for a bioethical tourist site. Had a fun time fishing; Elvi, Kelly and Jasmine were so patient. I definitely hope to visit again. It was a good start for my 2025 spiritual renewal and fitness journey!!

Cabana looked really nice, it was spacious and clean. It had everything what it should have. The best thing about stay was Raul - the owner of Cabana, our cook and our guide. He was very friendly and helpful. The food he prepared for us was very delicious! I can recommend this stay to anyone, who would like to experience true Amazon experience with limited budget.

Spotlessly cleaned every morning, the staff were amazing and helpful in every way including organising our tours on the Amazon river and the communities up and down river. The cabana was wonderful, sitting on the balcony in the evening with a glass of wine watching and listening to all the birds and animals around about us, oh so peaceful!! The breakfast each morning served overlooking the lagoon was fresh and delicious
