The place was perfect for travelers in every scale! The location is right at the start of the quilotoa treck, the views are exceptional, the room was clean and well equipped. There are games and books for the free time, and they had food options for people with restrictions (Im vegetarian and have an allergy to gluten). There are hot water for shower (you just need to know that you should open it for a bit, and not all the way). Also there is a service of transporting your big muchilas to the end of the trail, and a lunch bag to go. Above all the hospitality was so lovely, we got help with everything we needed (including a ride to the atm!). Would definitely recommend!

The property was close to Quilotoa Lake and was very clean. The owner Marcelo took great care of us. One of my family members got sick and Marcelo woke up at 1am to make us tea. He went above and beyond.

The hostel was a great place to meet other hikers on the Quilatoa Loop. It seemed to be the main junction for people going in either direction. There were great common areas with pool tables, ping pong and a lovely warm fireplace. Our room was comfortable and came with its own hammock on the veranda.

The family were so warm friendly and welcoming. They were funny, lovely to talk to and extremely hospitable! Lovely clean chalet style rooms with balcony and view of the mountains. Amazing value, tasty food, free tea coffee water and banana bread.

I loved the location of this place right next to Quilotoa Lake. The included breakfast and dinner were pretty good, but I enjoyed the included meals at Llu Llu Llama better (in another town along the hike). I loved the fireplace in the rooms and how you could request for them to start a fire to warm up the room. This was so unique. As a solo female traveler I felt safe.

We had a great stay! The hotel looks like a mountain cabin but still modern on the inside, with all the comfort needed! We had a whole floor to ourselves, it was great! And the host was super nice and so sweet! He made sure we had everything we needed and was very helpful to answer our questions. He even gave us a departure gift (have not received one since I started traveling this time)!

We got in past dinner time, but the staff were extremely nice and prepared us a meal since we were hungry and the rest of the restaurants in town were shutdown. The staff also lit the stove in our room during the night which was super cozy.
