The bungalows are on the waterfront at the quieter end of town. The hosts connect with you using WhatsApp so ant language barriers are overcome, they arrange transport when needed. They have a local restaurant that will deliver lunch and dinner to the cabanas. Excellent quality and prompt service. All you have to do is eat watching the sunset.

Your best option in Manta. Oswaldo is super nice host, he even brought as to a local "Fiesta de Pueblo". Rooms are clean, and not expensive. The included breakfast is delicious. Really authentic Ecuadorian food. Don't miss out on this option guys.

Rooms are big and comfortable. Location is good, at the edge of village, convenient still quiet. Staff are helpful. Rooftop is great for bird watching.

For the price I can't fault the place so it's a ten all the way from me. I got the apartment across the road from the reception. Excellent spacious place. Jacuzzi in the bath, bedroom up the stairs. All good. Breakfast was great. Tuzco is a five minute walk back from the beach which, bearing in mind how noisy the area at the front can be is a real bonus. The pool and its surrounds were clean and well organised. But the best thing about the place is Julio and his staff. Welcoming, friendly and professional at all times. They arranged an early breakfast for me on two of my mornings and could not have been more helpful.

Hotel was very nice and clean, less than 5 min walking to the beach, very close to everything. Daily cleaning was provided. I absolutely love my stay, the staff were very nice.

Mantaraya Lodge in Puerto López mixes fantastic architecture with bright colours, an outdoor pool and a tropical setting. Its air-conditioned rooms have private bathroom and a balcony with a hammock.
