I have never left a review ever before on anything. This is the first place I think we had to leave one for! I've never stayed in such a clean and beautiful place. Balance of amenities, surroundings, location, and cleanliness was the best we have ever been to. Pictures don't do it justice! It shows how the place is loved and looked after, and no detail has been spared. Thank you and we will be back and recommend to others!

What an amazing location...close to so much, and a lovely opportunity to experience the countryside of Spain as well as visiting nearby historic cities. Hosts were wonderful as well...very accomodating, knowledgable and helpful. So warm and welcoming! We miss them already😀

El Mirador de Santiago er staðsett í Monachil, í innan við 6,4 km fjarlægð frá vísindagarðinum í Granada og 7,6 km frá San Juan de Dios-safninu. A nice break from staying in hotels in busy areas. This cabin was comfortable and quiet. Santiago was very friendly and helpful. We slept so well both nights we were here. The location is beautiful; outside of the very busy Granada but close enough to see the Alhambra and other sights. We had a rental car and were able to park it on site. Would definitely recommend. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We enjoyed the incredible views during the day and the warm fireplace at night. We were there for three days and went on a different hike each day. We also enjoyed the seclusion. Due to the time of year, first week in February, there wasn't anyone else in the area except for the home owner, whom we would see typically in the afternoon when we returned from our hike. The closest village was Prada Maguilla, which appeared closed down for the winter. The only 'residents ' we saw there were two friendly donkeys. If you have a chance to visit and are into hiking, I suggest the Puntal de la Mira hike, which provides the most amazing 360 views when you get to the top where the refuge is located. Be sure the weather is good if you're there during the winter months. Although we had a sunny day, there was some leftover snow and cooler breezes from time to time.

We loved staying at MiCielo. They had loads of things for the kids to do. The family was very welcoming and helped with anything we needed.

We booked the Alhambra room which was spacious and very comfortable. The highlight was definitely the big balcony with a stunning view. Would 100% recommend.
