Objekat ORANGUTANTREKSUMATRA & LOVELY JUNGLE LODGE only book IF you are treking with us se nalazi u gradu Bukit Lawang. Was the best experience for anyone wanting a real jungle experience. For the lodge expect basic facilities, but it makes it more authentic, in these gorgeous huts on a hill in the mountain. Expect to see many monkeys and to be woken up by watching the sun rise over the jungle. As someone who wanted to be surrounded in nature, this was perfect for us. The trek was also incredible. Rifan and Ahan were incredible, helping us spot all the animals, whilst being great fun the whole way, and going out of their way to be great guides the whole time. We did 3 days 2 nights and spotted orangutans, hornbills, both black and white gibbons, all kinds of monkeys, lizards and turtles. Definitely worth trekking here, as it is family run, and they are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Also food was great.

Dining facilities were comfortable, had a relaxing atmosphere and the staff were very attentive and helpful. The view from our Waterfall cottage was peaceful and its location was convenient to the dining area. Our trek into the jungle exceeded expectations: Not only did we see several orangutans and a huge variety of monkeys, but the lunch was refreshing and the guides were so friendly and informative. Another village tour was arranged at short notice and proved very interesting.

I stayed in a recently renovated room with beautiful views of the river! The restaurant attached has such a cool ambiance - a great place to read or study. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Rooms were very clean and neat and an easy walk towards the forest or shops nearby!

We stayed at Brown Bamboo for 4 nights and we can’t thank enough for Gia and his lovely wife for making our stay really special!The rooms are basic but you have everything what you would need!Super friendly and kind host!They even invited us to join them for a wedding in a village!Gia organised our jungle trekking which is a memory I will never forget!Our guides Gesu and Borneo are the best!!!the jungle trekk with the hot-humid weather is very hard but it is worth every second of it and they will look after you in every step of the way!we saw many orangutans,some very close to us!!!Sleeping in a jungle is very surreal ,but being and sleeping in nature is a one of a kind experience!Gia also organised a trip to Tangakhan where you can wash the elephants in the river and feed them!Great experience! I would absolutely recommend Brown Bamboo guests house if you looking for a friendly and familiar place ! Thank you Gia and family for making our stay really special!
