Beautiful views and far from the hustle bustle of the town Risky and team were super helpful throughout. The gado gado was one of the best I've had in Indonesia. Wifi was far better than I expected.

They arrange everything so well and take such good care of you, from the airport to your stay at the Garden Inn and especially during the jungle trekking. We did the two days one night trekking with Jerry, Rudy & Abdi. The guides are very funny, knowledgeable about everything and Abdi’s food was amazing! The trekking was tough but we had so much fun and saw many orangutans and other animals. Unforgettable experience and definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Indonesia! After the trekking we spent another night at the Garden Inn and did the village tour with Pindu, perfect way to learn more about the local community! He also let us make our own tempeh and gado gado, which was a lot of fun. If you are planning to visit Bukit Lawang, we would recommend to book everything with the Garden Inn team. The place is located next to the jungle so you get nice morning visits of the monkeys while you have breakfast. The bungalow had beautiful views to the jungle and was very integrated in the environment. The staff was super nice and helpful; they helped us with our transfer from and to the airport and gave us recommendations for our trek. The trek was an amazing experience and we want to specially thank to our guide Mr Laughing!
