This is a stunning villa, high in the hills above Kandy city with views of jungle and outer city, with warm and super kind hosts, Punya and Ravi. Ravi's breakfast is fabulous. This is more of an art-hotel, beautifully appointed and designed, luxe. We should have stayed longer. It's a short walk down to the city, more of a tuktuk back.

Perfect for a very reasonable price. Big room, approximately 20 minute walk (which is by the very beautiful lake) to Kandy.

An amazing place if you truly want to enjoy the peace of nature and a fantastic view from your window, both in the morning and in the evening. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful – truly 11 out of 10. A special mention to a young man named Ruwan, who was so attentive and caring. The hotel has a dog named Angie, who made us happy every time we met her. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, served on a beautifully set table. The pool is clean and offers a stunning view of the mountains. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are in Kandy.

Photos hardly do this place justice, unlike other places in Sri Lanka i feel it exceeds what you think it would be.Cloud resort was 100% our favorite accommodation and location on our 2 week visit to Sri Lanka. It is the most beautiful location with breathtaking views, our room had a panoramic view of the valley, which we could see from our bed. Sunset and sundown, such a spoil. Our private butler brought meals to our room, we were treated like royalty. We only stayed 2 nights, we were on a tight schedule, but it is the kind of place you should stay a minimum of 5 nights. The mountain walks to whatch the sunset, the pinawala is super close , the old tea factory is amazing, and just finding peace for your soul. The rooms are incredible, every small detail was crafted and curated by the owners ( family), and is such a treat to discover all the attention to detail and thoughtful comforts. Our bed was a highlight, it was a swing suspended from the ceiling, we have never slept so well being gently rocked to dream land. Inthi was an an incredible host, gave us lots of privacy, but always there if we needed anything. He was super helpful with directions, excursions, and just general info and the history of Sri Lanka. I loved meeting him. Butttt all this said...... the food!!!!!! Oh my word is was blown away, up to this point of our travels the food never blew me away....... but I would definitely recommend having all your meals there. It was beautiful, fragrant, and delicious!!!!!!!!! One of our top stays we have ever been to by far. If you are lucky enough to read my review, don't hesitate to book, you will fall in love, like we did

Large clean and comfortable rooms; we stayed in the duplex room with 2 beds on the upper loft. Breakfast was excellent, staff was super friendly and helpful and the check-in process was a breeze. The manager who greeted us at arrival was very friendly and helpful as well. I would stay again for sure!

Everything. The guys really knows hospitality and even our brunch on a mountain top was top notch presentation. I did not think I would have some of the best food of our stay 4000ft above sea level.
