It’s in a perfect location, just outside the city, set on top of a hill with stunning views. The house is new, very clean, and beautifully designed. Ravi is a wonderful host and prepares absolutely delicious breakfasts. I couldn’t be happier with my stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kandy.

We had a fantastic stay at The Traveller Kandy! The host was lovely, super friendly, and really easy to talk to – made us feel very welcome right away. The view from our room was absolutely incredible – we spent so much time just sitting on the balcony watching life go by in the valley below. It was the perfect peaceful escape. We’re really glad we chose a spot just a little out of town; it’s only a short PickMe ride into central Kandy, but far enough to avoid the busyness and crowds in the city center. We chatted with other travelers who regretted staying right in town and wished they’d picked somewhere quieter like this. The property has beautiful design and a calm, relaxing vibe overall. We stayed for 2 nights, which felt like more than enough for a quick visit to Kandy (especially if you’re doing a short trip and hitting the main sights). Highly recommend this place for anyone wanting stunning views, a friendly host, and a serene retreat away from the hustle!

We had an absolutely unforgettable stay in this stunning mountain accommodation, with a breathtaking view directly from the bed. We spent two nights there and were lucky enough to admire the sunrise twice without even leaving our room — a truly magical and timeless moment. The terrace is also beautiful and perfect for relaxing while enjoying the scenery. Inthizar is an extraordinary host. He cooks everything on site, from breakfast to dinner, preparing delicious local food with great passion. He even surprised us with a romantic dinner on the terrace, which was an unforgettable experience. We spent two lovely evenings chatting with him and two other travelers, as the atmosphere was so warm and the company so pleasant. This place is by far the best accommodation of our entire trip, both for its beauty and for the exceptional hospitality. Featuring air conditioning, Ru Boutique is located in Kandy, 200 metres from Kandy Museum. Sri Dalada Maligawa is 300 metres from the property. The accommodation is fitted with a flat-screen TV. Great, attentive staff, good food, nice outlook from the hotel.

For us it was an amazing week that we did not expect the peace of the place, and the ease of getting around. Asela drove us to Kandy any time, we didn't know is was so close, and the drive so easy. It was actually nicer for us to be out of the city and Ascela took us around at a very low cost, we used messaging and always on time to meet us. Restaurants are interesting in town but we enjoyed eating at the home-stay because the food was very very good & healthy, such a beautiful place to look over the valley & their own vegetable & herb garden! We liked going on walks, magnificent views, and Asela actually gave us a little hiking tour! In Kandy, there are tourists like us- at Tedro we had privacy, but also felt part of the community when we took walks. There is a TV but we never used it. We will be back, some day, and we do recommend this precious experience to anyone that wants good food, good sleep (the bed is great, view is really nice) access to town& the sights. In fact, we ended up going on a longer excursion to Siguria with Asela as our driver! He kindly got us there and back safeley, and gave us a lot of space for personal privacy as we did our own exploring. He is a very good guide and his family - downstairs from the room & porches - is respectful.
