We traveled 3,000 km specifically to return to Entremares for an entire week. It did not disappoint! It is off the beaten path and summer-camp rustic. Perfect! The staff are very friendly and accommodating, the food is good, and it's really amazing to be able to swim in both the ocean and the sound. This is a peaceful place that is very quiet at night. Lots of nature, hammocks for reading.

At the chalet complex, units include a balcony. The units include a private bathroom fitted with a a bath or shower, while selected rooms also offer a fully equipped kitchenette. At the chalet complex, each unit includes bed linen and towels. We arrived not knowing what to expect. We had heard the ruins were closed, but decided to stay a couple of nights in Ocosingo anyways on our way to Palenque because the nature seemed beautiful. This place completely exceeded expectations and we wished we had stayed more nights. The cabin was surrounded by beautiful nature for hiking and the Toniná ruins were only a 10 minute walk. The best part of all was that the staff and the people were really, nice, kind. And wanted to make sure that everything went well. One of the staff members, Rosa Maria, went above and beyond. She found a guide that was able to take us into the ruins. We were able to go inside, climb the pyramids, and even go inside one of the tunnels. She was also able to find a place for us with strong internet so that we could do some of our remote work. I highly recommend this place and that you make it more than just one night.
