Beautiful accommodation, which has been finished to a very high standard. Super comfortable beds so had a fabulous sleep. Great setting with excellent facilities. Breakfast was superb. Loved the whole experience. We were looked after so well.

The host, Liz, was very friendly and helpful. Liz helped us arrange to breakfast which was superb. The lodge is in a secluded part of the garden which offers plenty of privacy.

We spent a wonderful weekend with phenomenal weather in this fantastic little house by the lake. The location is truly unbeatable — peaceful, scenic, and at the waterline. You reach it via a footpath. The vast porch at the waterfront quickly became our favorite spot for afternoon and evening relaxation in the sun. Inside, the house is small, but cleverly laid out, with everything thoughtfully arranged to make the most of the space. 1 bedroom is big, with a dressing. The other two are small but hey there are 3 bedrooms in total! Washer, dishwasher, smart tv, senseo coffee, it has it all .. The living room and view is amazing, prepare for boat watching and water birds spotting from inside or outside. Cozy, clean, and super convenient. There is secure parking at the small harbor parking. A perfect escape — we’re already looking forward to coming back!

This was my first stay in a camp ever and I have to say that I am very satisfied. I did a right choice and selected a small hut (1 night stay) and I felt very cosy in it. It is a great camp 2 km from Urk and midst fantastic nature, fantastically cared lawns and sufficient offer of food & snacks. Reception staff very friendly, you can order snacks at the reception and pick them up next morning for a fresh breakfast. A pity I could stay only 1 night but I had to go on (I travelled by car and did 4000 km in 8 days visiting 7 countries). There is also a pool and playground for kids and pony horses. And there are 3 beautiful cats in the camp going around. One of them was insisting and I let him in the hut and he jumped on a bed immediatelly to lie down. I like cats and please my request to camp staff: please keep some food and water for cats so they can eat and drink and enjoy in the camp, too. Thank you.

Very clear, fast and kind communications from the host prior to our stay. There's quite a bit of flexibility wrt additional baby chair or cot as well as early check-in and late-check out (albeit it being at extra costs). The hot tub was lovely - does require a bit of planning since it takes a while to heat up (as well as buying wood etc which is available at the supermarket on site). Very clean and parking in front of the house. There are 3 (!!!) TV screens in the house which seems a bit excessive but that's only personal ;)
