The cottage is not very big, however completely sufficient space. There is small kitchenete with possibility to cook. The bathtub is amazing and the view is awesome. Everything is very clean. If there are neighbours you do not feel bothered by that - it still feels quite private. And of course, the ceiling windows are huge plus and we even managed to see Northern lights. Higly reccomended. :)

We have the whole place ourselves including the house, the BBQ hut and sauna hut. Have everything we need to cook. Wish we can stay longer.

Fantastic location and we were lucky enough to have spectacular views of aurora borealis. We stayed in a lodge; this was a good size, really comfortable and it was nice to put a log fire on. Breakfast and meals were served in the main building... slippers provided. Staff were helpful and friendly, doing some extra 'gritting' on the path to make it easier to get luggage to the lodge.

10 km from Alta City and 500 metres from Alta River lies Trasti & Trine Boutique Hotel. Surrounded by forest, the location offers good hiking, skiing and biking trails straight from the cottage door.

This is the best choice for accommodation in Alta. For the first moment, we felt like home. - kind, very friendly and full of professional approach by the staff - spacious room & bathroom, cozy decoration - exceptionally clean room / bathroom - tasteful breakfast and unique dinner (many choices for wine) - yard is full of green and flowers and there are benches everywhere to enjoy your coffee under the sun - there is a bar and a bakery within the property - do not miss the activities with the dogs - bio & ethical approach of their activities/facilities Really, I hope to visit this place again - highly recommended !

A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Vadsø, Ekker Island Arctic Lodge is a holiday home surrounded by views of the garden.
