I travel a lot and have started rating the places I stay by the quality of the breakfast bacon. I have to admit that this place is the new "king of the hill" on Matti's bacon index. Absolute 6/5 👌

Staying at Holmen Husky is an experience far away from staying at an ordinary hotel. We want our guests to get closer to nature and to get a taste of what it is like to live close to the elements. The staff was really kind, the breakfast was really good, you can see husky and sheeps, and the deluxe suite was really amazing - best value place of this trip

10 km from Alta City and 500 metres from Alta River lies Trasti & Trine Boutique Hotel. Surrounded by forest, the location offers good hiking, skiing and biking trails straight from the cottage door. The surroundings are like a picture out of movie scene!! Absolutely magical. Staff are amazing & my room was very clean & comfortable. Have loved the beauty surrounding me. I am a solo woman traveller & felt very safe & well looked after.

You’re far away from everything only surrounded by nature… Bjorge my host is a very nice guy, he helped me to find my way around the place or with any questions you might have. You have a fully equiped lovely timber cottage for yourself, and if you keep all the lights off you can see when the Northern Lights appear… It doesn’t get any better than this, I’ll be back!
