The eco-lodge is on a beautiful property full of birds, plants, nature sounds, etc. and the pool is such a nice way to relax and cool off. It's very easy to get to via shared car aka colectivo. Some Spanish would definitely help, but with a sense of aventure and Google translate, you'd be fine!

From pick up to drop off and we had so many great outings and adventures thanks to him ! I can really recommend this lodge.

Jacamar Lodge Expeditions's information desk organizes various activities such as piranha fishing, canoeing, pink and gray dolphin sighting, bird sighting, boating or canoeing, and jungle expeditions throughout the day and night. Danny was the best tour guide. He took good care of us and gave us the best jungle experience according to our needs. We saw so many different animals (sloth, baby alligator, piranhas, dolphins, birds, wolf spider, firefly and many others) during a short stay, thank you Danny! Didn’t got mosquito bites at the lodge at all, (but be prepared at night in the jungle🤫). Last but not the least, the food at the lodge was fresh and simply delicious (I tried some fancy restaurants at Cusco but I liked the food at the lodge more!)

The Amazon Muyuna Lodge is an ecolodge in the Tamshiyacu Tahuayo Communal Reserve , situated on the Amazon River shore, 3 hours from the centre of Iquitos. It offers full board and a range of river and jungle excursions. Lovely setting that felt safe but also connected to nature. You’ll automatically get signed up for excursions with a guide shared between you and anyone else who speaks your language that arrived that day. About 1 out of 3 excursions will be hiking and 2 out of 3 will be by boat. 4d3n was perfect, but the most exciting excursions were captured in the 3d2n plan, and if you stay longer you spend a night camping. Food is buffet style, and they accommodate dietary restrictions well. Maybe we lucked out but January was a great time to visit! Highly recommend this lodge!

It’s clean, the pool was great. Surroundings and to sit in the garden looking at the Amazon river watching the dolphins you couldn’t ask for more. Also the excursions laid on were out of an adventure novel.
