The hosts were more than lovely, helping out with everything: food, transport....The location is beautiful next to the river, where you can swim and chat (depending on your Spanish) with the local kids, the hammock on your private balcony is amazing, the dogs were sweet but most of all the host and owners were amazing, had a great day trip tour arranged by them too.

The property was beautifully located, deep in the forest with wildlife on the doorstep! Staff were so friendly and attentive! The shower water is cold but so refreshing (trust me you won’t want a warm shower in the humidity) and the lodge was comfortable and well equipped (mosquito nets, toiletries, drinking water) with places to relax (swing and seat on the lake, hammock at the lodge) Chef was fantastic, every meal time something different and even had some piranha we caught ourselves!

We had a fantastic stay at Muyuna Lodge. The location is beautiful and offers a truly authentic Amazon experience surrounded by wildlife and nature. A special thank you to our guide, Nixon, who was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the rainforest. His expertise helped us spot a wide variety of animals and made every excursion interesting and enjoyable. The staff was welcoming, the food was very good, and the overall experience was unforgettable. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay a lot. It is undescribable to fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of the jungle. The cabanas are basic, but clean. You are in the middle of the Amazon rainforest, so don't be picky and don't wonder if you have animals in the cabana. But it is a unique experience. We loved our guide Carlos, who showed us the flora and fauna and the way the Amazon people live. He has great knowledge and speaks good english. The food was delicious especially for lunch and dinner. The portions are huge.
