The manager/chef Jane was very accommodating and always cooked us delicious meals. Also Mia and Clare were always there to help with whatever we requested. We thank everyone who made our stay very memorable. We would definitely stay here again (we apologise in advance, hope we spelt the names correctly).

The location is excellent — not right in the noisy city center, but still close enough to reach the city quickly and easily. The host was absolutely amazing: she helped us with everything we needed and is incredibly friendly. The accommodation itself is very clean, well-maintained, and beautifully organized. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it!

We were looking for a place to wind down and relax, away from touristy crowds and got that and more. The family running the place is incredibly friendly and helpful. You can order yummy food right there and eat at the beach which is super handy given that it's located a bit away from everything. That said the next town is just a 15 min scooter ride away, along with waterfalls and dreamy white sandy beaches if you want to explore the area a bit. We were staying in the cottage without air con (with fans) which was totally fine for us, the bed was clean and comfy and we enjoyed the outside shower/ bathroom. We only travelled with two big backpacks so riding from Port Barton with a scooter was possible (and seemed the best option), just be aware that the street isnt in the best condition for about half of the route. it's possible to do the trip in 30 min if you're alone with no luggage and comfortable riding on bumpy roads, two ppl with luggage took us more like an hour. It's also possible to hire a trike to get there.

Ocam Ocam is a great stay for those that are okay with not having all the modern comforts and for the price I think it is very fair and it was what I expected. You will be right on the beach, and at your doorstep there are two restaurants. You can book your trips to Black Island and also a trip to swim with a Dugong. Dugong snorkeling was the main reason I looked at Ocam Ocam, since you are much closer than where other operators come from, you can be one of the first boats there in the morning. It was an incredible experience. You are only allowed 15 min per 4 people, to respect and not overwhelm the Dugong, I love that. Apart from the beauty and nature, we just truly enjoyed experiencing the community- everyone on Sunday coming to the beach with their families, the basketball games in flip-flops, the kids making curious conversation, the kind waitress at H-Nice Restaurant. The accommodation is what you will see in the pictures, scoop flush toilet, not flushing toilet paper in the toilet cold water, but I loved it and hope to return again.

The room and bathroom is basic, but clean. You get a towel, fan and have a good mosquito net. The bathroom has no toilet paper and no bin, so if you need that you can bring paper and a plastic bag or maybe the hosts have it. There is a shower head, but for a more efficient process you can use the bucket. The location is directly at the beach and sooo beautiful and peaceful. The hosts serve breakfast, lunch and dinner for very fair prices. Right next door is a restaurant and a small shop. I wished I could have stayed longer. If you go by scooter, the about 3km from mainroad to the cottages is bumpy and not for beginners.

Amazing place. We travel for two months and lived in luxury hotels as well, but this place, with the lowest of standard till made the biggest impression, good vibes in general and amazing location. The staff was 100% genuine, sweet and caring beyond expectations!

Fantastic resort located right next to El Nido. We chose it because of the idyllic atmosphere and privacy. The highest standard of equipment and extremely maintained cleanliness. The staff is at your disposal all the time. The price very good. Each of the houses equipped with a small garden with a private pool and a full kitchen - in our opinion the top location in El Nido.
