This location near the top of the mountain affords stunning panoramic views of the Douro Valley. The hotel grounds are fresh, green and meticulously maintained. The swimming pools are beautiful and clean. The onsite bar and breakfast facilities are top quality and very comfortable. Our room was very nice with our own private balcony.

The check-in was so smooth - we paid the city tax by card and got a complimentary bottled beer. The room was bigger than I thought and the bathroom was almost half the room itself. I did not expect such a huge shower. You can set a few types of lights intensity in the room, there is also an air condition and a tiny roof window for fresh air. During our set it was raining and to our surprise, there is a free sauna that you can use. We did and were alone there. Perfect surprise to our bad weather. This stay made it up for it. Thank you! We will definitely come again in the future!

The apartment, the pool, the hosts and the location were all exceptional. Our whole experience at Villas Geres could not have been better. This is wonderful place to stay and explore the Douro Valley. Really helpful staff, great facilities and we were delighted with our complimentary breakfast and daily bakery delivery. Lovely walk to the nearby waterfall. The restaurant is fabulous.
