A piece of Paradise, we loved EVERYTHING here, amazing hospitality! We stayed in the beautiful (clay) ECO House, constructed by the owner himself, with lots of love for details ("dry toilet") a marvelous garden and delicious food. If you are crazy enough to arrive by car, you might want to leave it at the main road and take a shortcut by walking, as it's pretty adventurous otherwise... No hot water - which wasn't a problem at all

Our bungalow was clean and comfortable with hot water. Best of all was the pizza and pasta served, along with good bread, coffee and wine -- very Italian! Giulio also helped us secure ferry tickets, saving us a trip to Zinguinchor to buy them. And although the location is not on the beach, once you cross the big road, the path is a lovely, sandy track, taking about 15 minutes. It's a very long walk into town (45 minutes?) but you can jump in a taxi easily enough.
