Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. Absolutely perfect and beautiful hotel. Our stay was amazing and the chalets are fantastic! Everything is very clean, the food is outstanding and the staff is extremely friendly!

From the cozy atmosphere to the thoughtful touches, everything was designed with comfort and warmth in mind. The cottage was incredibly inviting and well-equipped, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. A special thanks to Sophia who is a fantastic host who truly goes the extra mile to ensure her guests feel welcomed and well-cared for. We truly enjoyed our time there and are already looking forward to returning.

Ever heard of Nieu-Bethesda, the owl house? We were very pleased to eventually visit Nieu-Bethesda, even more so when we arrived at Furrows Lodge. The room (outside) was spacious and well equipped. The setting is in and amongst trees, tranquil. Swimming pool and braai facilities are also available. Try "Die Waenhuis" Restaurant for a meal (part of Furrows Lodge). Everything is within walking distance. Highly recommended.
