Our host paid great attention to detail in furnishing this comfortable home. It had everything we needed, and a beautiful view of the hillside area. There is a nice outdoor space. We were delighted by the special touches and definitely would stay again.

Having visited this property several times, I can say without reservations that this is my favorite property to stay at in Spain, and in its category (historic and rural tourism). Visiting the location is like stepping back in time, and what sets this location apart is the quality of the location and the overall ambiance. The walls are hung with several period tapestries and painting, and several pieces of the furniture appear to be original to the location (though in fantastic condition). If you are looking to step out of your busy life, and step back in time (while also maintaining amenities such as cell/wifi/electricity), then this is hard to beat, case in point upon my arrival there were several leaving who stayed the weekend in period appropriate (~1850s) clothing. The view from the Pazo is breathtaking (see photo), and the grounds are wonderful to walk around.

The house has been newly renovated, it’s absolutely beautiful. The beds were super comfortable (you can tell the mattresses are new!); everything was super clean; the hostess left the heating on for us which we truly appreciated when we arrived in the cold night,that was so good!! She was also very flexible with the timings to hand over the keys, and always available for anything we needed, making sure we got everything to be comfortable and have a great time.

The most beautiful location and the most gracious host. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone visiting Ribiera Sacra area. So worth the 6 hour drive from Madrid!!!
