Fabulous location with a 180 degree view, overlooking Alicudi port and 5 Aeolian islands on the horizon. Fully equipped house with private path through olive trees, secluded on top of the rock. Still close enough to hear the sea and only a short walk from local grocery shops, restaurant and bar. Friendly host who welcomed us when we arrived with the ferry. Received lots of great tips and dinner suggestions. We had an opportunity to stay 4 nights, to wind down, enjoy the sea, the walking tracks and truly experience Alicudi’s island vibe and its people. Spacious for 2 people and sleeping sofa for larger group.

Elise has created a small slice of heaven on earth. The property is beautiful and well appointed with historic and vintage furnishings (often passed down through her family) that give the house a feeling of bygone times. The views are immaculate. The beds were so comfy and made with nice linens, I had the most amazing sleeps. The scent of the property was wonderful, indescribable but with notes of lavender, herbs and antique wood. I will miss the breakfasts, always with fresh bread, homemade yogurt and lemon marmalade - the best! Beyond this, Elise’s warmth and hospitality made you feel as though you were visiting an old friend, a type of travel so rare to find these days. My stay at Casa Tre Archi has left a permanent mark on my heart. I hope to return soon. Thank you Elise.

Alessandra is in a class of her own, a truly exceptional hostess. This was my fourth stay and my longest stay (a week). and I felt welcome and at home from the moment Alessandra greeted me at the port. Alicudi is a very special island: peaceful and unpretentious, a place where you can relax and be yourself. Alicudi Giardino dei Carrubi is gorgeous, the home-made cakes and yogurt are delicious for breakfast, and the view across to Filicudi (especially at sunrise and mid-afternoon) is spellbinding.

Our stay at Casa Mulino was perfect, the hotel owners are wonderful and very accommodating. The hotel itself is in the best location in the port area. The rooms were big and clean, and they offered an incredible view from the balcony. The room had air conditioning and a fan, which was amazing. There is a great beach just in front of the hotel, with very clear water. I highly recommend this hotel!
