We had such a brilliant stay here! Everything was great from start to finish. All the staff were absolutely lovely — so friendly and welcoming. We came with our almost two-year-old son, and everyone was so kind and sweet with him, which really made our trip feel extra special. The pool was perfect — clean and relaxing, with fresh towels available every day for us to use. We also had reserved sunbeds on the beach at no extra cost, which was a really nice touch. The location was ideal too: close to everything, with a few lovely restaurants nearby and a great little beach bar just a two-minute walk away. A special shoutout to Florida, one of the staff members, who was absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond for us. We’d definitely recommend this place and would love to come back!

This hotel is superb. Its a hotel where you have your privacy different from staffs all over you. I was given an upgraded room. Super comfy bed. Considerations was made for my check out. They listen and always want to help to make your stay worth it. The sea view is amazing. Will definitely be back.

I don't have enough words to say how amazing the stay at this hotel was. Friendly and smiling staff, clean everywhere, excellent food and a big choice for breakfast. Golem is fun for a couple of days, but it's a bit rough...

Golem is fun for a couple of days, but it's a bit rough around the edges. Prices feel more in keeping with a much snazzier kind of place, but that was just our experience. The beach is almost completely covered in sunbeds and chairs, not much room to find your own spot and lay down with a towel.

Brilliant for families with small children.

Brilliant for families with small children. Beautiful sandy beaches and a choice of good restaurants with reasonable prices (read cheap) for Westerners. One needs to walk into the sea for 70- 100 metres to reach a depth of 2 metres.

Very nice and long sandy beach. Many restaurants, bars, ... Amazing. But almost no toilets on the beach. (we found only one on the whole Golem beach) The changing rooms also not very common. But it you go one street behind it is like the garbage dump. The trash with many rats, mouses, ruins, builing places, ... The public transport has no stop signs, not time plans, ... I recomend to do the trip to Duresh. The trip to the water canyon in the land was really excelent.

This is a typically beach area, one hotel next to another,...

This is a typically beach area, one hotel next to another, with private beaches. A lot of building activity ongoing behind the hotels. It is the most southern part of "Durres", and a little seperated and small scale, but in 1 or 2 years it will be fully developed and crowdy in summer. Nothing more to do than beach and restaurants.

Golem has nice beaches and is relatively close to Durres. The problem is that there’s construction everywhere, and it’s noisy and messy. The mess is both on the streets and around the construction sites.

Golem itself is on the top of the hill, small village that...

Golem itself is on the top of the hill, small village that has nothing to do with the touristic beachfront. The beachfront part is designated only for turists, so it depends on you if you like this part of environment. It was reasonably calm beginning of May, but it must be crowded in the summertime.

The best of the best- new one Hotel!!! Opening July 2024! Owners/ customer service is high level and doing that job the best! Food is delicious. Rooms with perfect working air-conditioning. Comfortable beds and many sun-beds near swimming pool. 1 minute walking distance from Hotel to the beach where you can find hotels private sunbeds! Cleaning service every day. When we booked that hotel we didn’t know that it will be perfect staying in Albania. Highly recommended!

A typical traditional Albanian hotel — very comfortable and welcoming. The rooms are very clean and decorated with traditional Albanian motifs. The balcony is spacious, and the air conditioning works perfectly. The sea is very close, and I enjoyed the whole day at the beach. The area is lively and full of places to explore. I highly recommend it 100%!
