the guest house: - is extremely CLEAN - has spacious ROOMS and a nice garden and patio, very nice decor 😊 - has every COMFORT you need (towels, slippers…) and the owners are always happy to help you to get everything else you need - has delicious DINNER and BREAKFAST cooked by the owners with 100% local ingredients - the OWNERS are extremely nice and welcoming, they gave us awesome tips about our trip and we chatted a lot about many things. they were eager for us to try their products and tell us about their village and nation. they are all around awesome people. - the PRICE is extremely cheap, especially for being only half an hour from sevan. one of the best experiences of my life in an accommodation facility in general. five star hotels may be nice but the hospitality i found here has no price.

Satenik (host) was such an angel. She welcomed me with such warmth and made sure that my stay there was comfortable at all times. Good location as there are restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. The breakfast was great and very filling! I requested for lunch and dinner (Armenian cuisines) with extra costs (about and it was very affordable considering the convenience, food portion and freshness. The room was very quiet, comfortable and clean. Overall, it's a great place to stay and I would definitely return here again. Also, she has an awesome garden which she was happy to show me around and harvested for me to eat.

Hidden gem - Armenian hospitality at its best. I can’t recommend Hacarat Guest House highly enough. It is just a short drive off the main village road (sign posted by white arrows). You enter the doors and are at peace. Such a well kept garden, many small details to discover. The family is so very welcoming and truly excited to host. My room was exceptionally clean, the beds were wonderful. I had such a good night sleep, it was quiet and the fresh air was wonderful. Hopefully I can come back one day.
