I have stayed previously. The rooms are small but very comfortable. Shared bathroom facilities are always clean. Very good value for money at under $100 per night. Right in the main street of Ararat, but not noisy, as the rooms are at the back of the building.

I booked this property due to the very cheap tariff. It is centrally located in the main street of Ararat. The room was small but clean. Separate bathroom and toilet facilities were old but serviceable.

Our room was close to the lovely swimming pool, especially welcome on a very hot day. A small table and two chairs on the balcony. In the kitchen it was handy to have a full size fridge. A microwave as well as an electric cooktop with oven are there for a longer stay. The compact bathroom featured a rain shower. Television is connected to Ballarat stations. We appreciated the park is small, owner-run and near the main part of town. When wifi access was difficult, the staff helped out with an alternative that worked perfectly. All in all a pleasant overnight stay.

Wonderful motel, very close to the town centre and train station. Rooms are very large, especially the bathroom, and well appointed. Bed was very comfortable and the room was exceptionally clean. Could not fault this property. Will definitely be back.

Location in itself was enough for me, Close to Main St, Woolies, Maccas, garage. Close to J ward and Aradale and of course the Grampians. Hosts were fantastic even though he didn't want to talk Cricket HA HA. Rooms was spacious and the shower was magnificent. All up great place and an even better location.

EV charging on site is very convenient. It means spending zero time charging since the car is charged overnight and 100% ready the next morning for the journey ahead. I'd like to see this at every motel.

Beautiful clean place.

Beautiful clean place. Volunteers at the tourist information centre were extremely helpful. Just loved the way they had grapevines growing/hanging like garlands between the verandah posts as you walk up the Main Street. Ararat was very pretty 😍

Appreciated the historical buildings, lovely gardens and friendly residents. Loved the Gum San Chinese Heritage Museum - interesting historical information and well-laid out collections that gave us valuable insight into the origins of Ararat. We deliberately stayed in Ararat to visit Gum San. The staff on duty, Mary and Duan, were knowledgeable and helpful. Enjoyed our stay at Acacia Caravan Park - loved the joyful Christmas display in the front office garden. Cabin was clean, comfortable and had a well-appointed kitchen-just right for 5 people.

Ararat is a lovely town in itself and has everything you need, town hall, art gallery, many shops, antiques, eating places, gift shops, swimming pool, indoor and out, recreation, park, drives up to Halls Gap and tourist attractions areas. Didn't like the mess and Barracks much, it was cheap and very pub style.

Personally went to Ararat for ghost hunting at Aradale asylum and found myself quite happy with the other facilities, the town is quite cute with not too heavy traffic at most points of the day with good historical sightseeing and nature views!

When we are visiting Ararat we always stay there because the location is good. It’s on a main road but there’s no noise but to the double glazed windows. The lady that was working there was so lovely.
