We had a function to attend in the venue next door, so the location was perfect. This venue also did a fantastic coffee! The bed was comfortable.

There are a lot of good stories given the long history of mining that need to be documented and displayed. The museum at the workers club is a must do and a trip out to the Bowen River Pub 43 klm out of town for a good pub feed and swim in the river. A one night stay is enough. Hopefully the tourist protential will be developed one day.
