We loved the location and comfort of the town house. It is steps from the beach which was a huge bonus. There is a coastal walk around a headland which is great for a morning walk or jog. Best of all you will see kangaroos roaming in the area. Our stay was over Christmas and I had been in contact with Kelly (one of the cohosts)who was immensely helpful and responsive. She called numerous restaurants on my behalf to see if they were open for dinner. I really appreciated that. In the end I made Christmas dinner as the house was well equipped and she had very thoughtful items like milk, cheese and crackers etc. that we did not expect but we did appreciate.

This place is a surprise - drive up a typical suburban street, turn though the gates and you find a long winding palm lined driveway that leads across a bridge over a creek to a very large house. The owner greeted us and showed us to our apartment. It was a very large room with two leather lounges and coffee table, a well equipped kitchen and bathroom. The bedroom was spacious, had a comfortable queen bed and lots of storage. Everything was sparkling clean and it as obvious that the owner is very conscious of the needs of her guests with everything one might need provided. Breakfast included varieties of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts and teas and coffees. The bathroom had a large vanity and good shower. Undercover parking is provided near the apartment door.

The stand-alone unit was tastefully decorated and furnished. A very zen, beach style vibe. Very clean and comfortable. We appreciated the friendly welcome by the owner, clear pride of ownership. Privacy, morning tea/coffee and filtered water and nice quality hair products were a nice touch. There was a great coffee/breakfast just across the street and a fabulous place for dinner just around the corner. We did lots of walking along the coastal path. Beautiful views, fantastic clean beaches w/warm, clear water and sandy bottom. Great surf. We would absolutely stay at this little Shangri-la again!

Great location, quiet and comfortable. Well appointed with all you needed. Maybe coffee making facilities would be good for night time needs. Also better dining chairs/table for eating in when alternatives not available. Very happy with our choice of stay.

The park was very clean and people coming and going as it...

The park was very clean and people coming and going as it was popular, but not annoying busy. Everyone was friendly and courteous within the park. Dogs welcome. Beautiful natural surroundings and the beach near by. The pool was out of action due to renovations but we were told this upon booking, there is a splash park for the kids. A bottle shop and convenience store in close proximity from reception. Some local pubs offered free pick up and drop off. Totally surprised as photos don't do it justice. We will definitely stay again. Cabins were a fantastic size. Office staff were more than obliging and very beautiful to deal with. Nothing to dislike

Emerald beach is in many ways the pick of the locations...

Emerald beach is in many ways the pick of the locations north of Coff’s, up to Woolgoolga. The beach and headland walks are really good, the local restaurants are low key but excellent, overall it is quiet, calm, but first rate. You can easily take a ten minute drive, to other sites, shopping centres, or eating places. If you want quiet quality, impossible to beat. One thing that gets little attention is the coastal track. If you like walking, bird watching, whale watching, beach walking, etc, then the coastal track is well signposted, and easy to follow both south and north of Emerald beach. Low key, but fun.

Emerald Beach is a quiet coastal town flanked by dramatic...

Emerald Beach is a quiet coastal town flanked by dramatic seas and cliffs, and gorgeous beaches. North Emerald Beach is the best dog beach I've ever seen - a large wide expanse of compacted sand which is easy to walk on and a lot of fun for the pooches to frolic along. There are some great places to eat (cafes with friendly staff, a pizza/pasta place) and what looked like quite a fancy restaurant which we didn't try. Limited food and other shopping options for self caterers, but larger centres very close by (Woolgoolga to the north, Moonee Beach to the south, both within 10km, and the larger centre of Coffs Harbour, with its airport and port/jetty and smashing seafood co-op, within about 20 km or so). A lovely place to relax and recharge, without having to disconnect from life completely. Highly recommended.

The facilities for the kids is great and the beach is awesome, the 2bedroom cabin we had was just right and had all the things we needed to be comfortable. Places to eat were close by and not hard to get to.

paved walkways around the headland and down to the beach. shops, though only one, with cafe and restaurants within a block of the beach. Close to Coffs Harbour but far enough away to make it a nice drive. In he middle of the solitary islands walking track. lovely.
